ChitChat AI — English Speaking Practice
This policy explains how ChitChat AI — English Speaking Practice ("the app") handles information when you use it. Kivora ("we", "us") develops and publishes the app.
Please do not type sensitive personal information — such as passwords, financial details, health information or government ID numbers — into a practice conversation.

Information you give us
Nothing. The app has no sign-up, no login and no profile. We never ask you for your name, email address, phone number, date of birth or payment details, and there is no way to send them to us through the app.
Information stored on your device
Your chosen practice language, difficulty level and streak count are saved on your device so the app remembers your settings between sessions. You can erase them at any time by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the app.
We cannot see this information. It stays on your phone, and uninstalling the app removes it.
Practice conversations
To generate a reply and to write your end-of-conversation feedback, the messages you type during a practice session are sent to our server and forwarded to OpenAI, which operates the language model behind the app. We do not attach your name, email, device identifier or any account information to those messages, and we do not keep a copy of your conversations after the reply has been returned to your device.
We rely on the following service provider to make this work:
- OpenAI — Generates the conversation replies and language feedback. Privacy policy
Advertising
The app is free, and ads pay for it. Ads are served by Google AdMob. The app is configured to request non-personalised ads only, which means the ads you see are not based on your interests or your browsing history. To choose an ad and to measure whether it worked, Google's advertising SDK still collects a limited amount of technical information directly from your device, typically including:
- your device's advertising ID, a resettable identifier that is not tied to your name
- your approximate, city-level location, derived from your IP address
- basic device and app information, such as device model, operating system version and app version
- whether an ad was shown, viewed or tapped
This information goes to Google, not to us. We only ever see anonymous, aggregated totals — such as how many ads were shown yesterday — and never anything that identifies you. Google's use of this data is governed by how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and by the AdMob policies.
Your choices about ads
- Reset or delete your advertising ID. On Android, open Settings → Privacy → Ads (the exact path varies by device) to reset it, or to delete it entirely.
- Turn off ad personalisation. The same settings screen lets you opt out across every app on your device. You will still see ads, but they will not be based on your interests.
- Nothing to opt out of for personalisation. Because this app already requests non-personalised ads only, your interests are not used to select the ads it shows you.
Analytics and tracking
We do not use any separate analytics product. We do not track you across other apps or websites, and we do not build a profile of who you are or what you do.
Sharing your information
We do not sell, rent or trade personal information, and we never will. Beyond the service providers named above, we share information only where the law requires it — for example, in response to a valid legal request.
Children's privacy
The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at info@expathub-all.com and we will delete it.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live — for example under the GDPR in the EEA and the UK, or the CCPA/CPRA in California — you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export the personal information a company holds about you, and to object to certain kinds of processing.
Because we hold no account and no record that identifies you, there is normally nothing for us to look up, correct or delete. For the device-level advertising data described above, Google acts as the data controller, and you can exercise your rights through your Google account and your device's ad settings. If you still have a request, write to info@expathub-all.com and we will help.
Data retention
We do not retain your conversations. Messages are held in memory only for as long as it takes to produce a reply, and are then discarded. Our service providers retain data according to their own published policies.
Security
All communication between the app and our servers is encrypted in transit using HTTPS. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the limited information involved.
International transfers
We are based in the Republic of Korea. The service providers described above may process data on servers in other countries, including the United States, under the safeguards set out in their own privacy policies.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the app handles information, we will update this page and change the "last updated" date at the top. Please check back from time to time.
