Sowdate tells you when to start your seeds. Enter your last spring frost date (and, if you like, the first autumn frost), pick the vegetables, herbs and flowers you want to grow, and see the dates for starting indoors, transplanting and sowing outdoors. The plan is built from your frost dates, not from months, so a garden in the southern hemisphere works just as well.

- Yes. Sowdate works on your phone without a connection, and there is no account or sign-in. The internet is only used to load ads.
- Does Sowdate collect my personal data?
- Sowdate never asks for your name, email address or phone number, and what you enter stays on your phone. Ads are served by Google AdMob, which collects limited device information such as the advertising ID. The privacy policy explains the details.
